Reminder regarding AOL and other
challenging ISPs:
Some AOL users have been having problems entering Web sites; we believe AOL does
not
allow its users to access
certain types of Web pages. Here is a way around
this problem.
1. Start AOL and connect to the Internet.
2. After you are connected to the Internet, minimize AOL (the
left button that looks like a flat
line. It should be located
in the upper right
corner of the AOL window). Make sure not to close
AOL, just minimize it.
3. Open up Internet Explorer by double-clicking on the big
Blue E. Hopefully that should start
the Internet Explorer browser.
If it comes
up and asks you about connecting to the Internet, that
means that IE is not yet
configured on your computer.
4. Type in the class Web address to log in through Internet
Explorer.
