This
picture was actually created from three separate photos.
Why? Well the reason goes like this. Mom (on the right)
graduated from CSUN in the morning and Sally graduated
that evening. As I was driving home, I realized that
I did not have a picture of my two favorite ladies together
and in their graduation gowns. Here is how I solved the
problem.
I
scanned in a photo of Beverly where she was standing
with her sister and her mom. I then used Adobe Photoshop
to cut out Beverly's sister and mom. I then scanned in
a photo of Sally standing with Beverly (only Beverly
was not wearing the graduation gown in the picture) and
cut Beverly out of the picture, leaving Sally in her
gown.
The
third photo I used was just a picture of the graduation
podium at Beverly's graduation ceremony. I had taken
it just for grins. I scanned in the photo of the podium
and then placed the cutouts of Beverly and Sally in front
of the podium. If you look closely, you can see the shadow
differences in their faces.
Having
watched my wife and daughter graduate with honors on
the same day, and from the same university, is a day
I will always remember...and now I have a picture to
cherish.
