Both textbooks are required.
*** Important Notes ***>>> This class meets entirely online and there are no campus meetings. <<< >>> Students must complete the Introductory Discussion assignment by 11:59 p.m. PST on Wednesday, June 12, or risk being dropped as a no show <<<
>>> MS Office 2010 is used for all assignments in this course. This class does NOT cover MS 0ffice 2003. If you do not have access to MS Office 2010, you should plan on using the campus computer labs to complete your assignments. MS Office 2007 may be used, however, students will be responsible for any differences in the layout of the program, and those differences do not constitute an excuse for missing, incorrect, incomplete, or late assignments.<<< Be sure that you have Acces 2010! It does not come with the book, nor do any of the Office 2010 applications. Not all MS Office packages include Access 2010, so students may have to use the campus computer labs for the Access portion of the course. >>> Login information for access to Blackboard is the same as your myAVC login data. <<< >>> All email communication with the teacher must be through the AVC email system. I will not respond to non-AVC emails. <<< >>> The MS Office 2010 textbook is packaged with a CD containing data files necessary to complete the assignments. If you purchase the textbook used, the CD may not be included. The data files will be made available in the classroom, or may be downloaded from the publisher's Web site.
